We will each be posting about our experiences growing up and as adults living with BPES. We were lucky enough to never really get bullied when we were growing up; it was more just stares and curious questions. Here are common questions and comments that we have gotten:
“Oh you guys must be related.”
“I can tell you are sisters.”
“What is your heritage?”
“Are you Alaskan?”
“Are you Asian?”
Like the Mona Lisa, we appear to be a big mystery to people!

It is awesome you guys didn’t get the hardcore teasing (Though I imagine you had one or two I’m sure).
People always tend to notice things outside the normal, for them. Thanks for letting me read and sharing so much.
